Now its 2nd year, the Axco Global Insurance Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovation and collaboration of the insurance ecosystem managing complex global risk.

Following a thorough judging process, AkinovA was shortlisted ahead of the official awards ceremony to be held on the 18th April 2024.

The judging panel was made up of a diverse range of highly influential and respected figures within the insurance community, including Antonio Vianello, Head of Multinational Programs & Network Management – Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, Karen Gorman, Global Services & Solutions Leader Europe, Risk & Broking – Willis Towers Watson, and Karol Dobias, Global Head of Multinational Transformation, Performance and BEX – Allianz Commercial.

The Innovation in Global Risk Analytics Award entry detailed our outstanding work showcasing the AkinovA C1Policy™. The C1Policy™ is a new data-driven, real-time credit risk insurance product that insures Credit Card Acquirers (CCAs) against the insolvency risk of their Airline & Travel Merchant Clients. It releases holdback capital / delayed settlement to Merchant Clients, provides a source of liquid funds for CCAs to refund cardholders, and does so at competitive premium rates for the Merchant (policy buyer), linked to actual CCA exposure (policy beneficiary).

The C1Policy™ is tech-enabled, with real-time data, and is client demand led.
